Overview
We created an immersive digital platform that captures the essence of Hoekstra's design philosophy while making their customization process accessible to a global audience. The solution needed to honor their craftsmanship heritage while embracing modern digital capabilities.
Since 1978, the Hoekstra family has been crafting exceptional ergonomic furniture in their Rotterdam workshop. While their reputation for quality and innovation remained strong, their digital presence didn't reflect the sophistication of their design process or allow customers to fully engage with their customization options.

The Challenge
Hoekstra's customers often needed to visit their showroom multiple times to understand the full range of customization options. This limited their market reach and made it difficult for international clients to engage with their products. Traditional online furniture shopping couldn't capture the nuanced quality of their ergonomic designs.
The platform needed to translate the personal guidance typically provided by the Hoekstra family in their showroom into a digital experience. We had to maintain their high-touch customer service standards while making their expertise accessible through digital tools.

The user experience mirrors the personal guidance of the Hoekstra family, walking customers through each decision with expert insights and clear explanations. We integrated their decades of ergonomic expertise into an intuitive digital advisory system.
